Play service
The Play service provides Camden's children with opportunities to play and enjoy their leisure time and to learn and develop in fun, friendly, safe and caring environments. We also help parents to work and study by offering and developing affordable childcare.
We provide after school clubs, breakfast clubs, holiday playschemes and community-based activity programmes for children and young people aged between four and thirteen years old.
As well as projects based in local communities and schools, we run specialist services for vulnerable children, young people and their families with varying needs.

Who does what?
Our quality and community development team works with all providers to promote quality play opportunities and active community participation. The out of school learning team offers a variety of excellent, exciting and engaging educational opportunities for children, through art, history, music, dance and drama. The extended service in and around schools team work with schools to develop access to extended services for children and families.
