Mayor of Camden

On 14 May, 2008, at the Annual General Meeting of the Council Councillor Nurul Islam (Labour) was voted in as this year's Mayor, with Councillor Omar Faruque Ansari (Liberal Democrat) as Deputy Mayor.

During the course of the present Council, 2006-2010, the post of Mayor will be rotated annually between all the elected parties.
