Children and young people's partnership

Camden’s Children and Young People’s Partnership is working to improve outcomes for all children and young people, in line with the requirements of the Children Act 2004.

The Children and Young People’s Partnership Board oversees implementation of Camden’s Children and Young People’s Plan, which sets out our vision for the borough as a place where children and young people are part of nurturing and self sustaining families, are supported to get the most out of life and develop the skills and knowledge that they need for life; where communities are safe, socially cohesive and empowered; where schools promote high standards, have a child centred approach to meeting the needs of their learners, and enable their pupils to achieve well, with clear pathways into work, training or continuing education; and where children's services are delivered around the needs of the individual, group or local community.

The Partnership’s overarching responsibility to deliver the Children and Young People’s Plan and realise this vision supports their key role in delivering Camden’s Every Child Matters: Change for Children agenda, where partners work together to deliver better integrated planning, commissioning and delivery of children’s services.
