Fostering and adoption
Children in Camden come from a huge range of ethnic backgrounds. We need prospective adopters and foster carers from all sections of the community, so we can place children in families which closely reflect their birth family.
We hold monthly open information evenings for people interested in fostering or adoption. To find out the date and venue of our next open evening, please contact the adoption or fostering team or call our free phone number 08000 281 436.
Do not rule yourself out. We look at all applications individually to see what you can offer our children. Please note:
- you don’t have to be under 40 to adopt or foster
- you don’t need to be in a relationship or have children of your own
- you don’t need to own your home
- you don’t need to live in Camden to adopt or foster through us
