Recycling your waste
Over 60% of the rubbish that you put in the bin can be recycled. The links below provide you with information about schemes we offer to help you to recycle more, whether on the street, from your doorstep, or at recycling centres such as Regis Road
What can I recycle?
Please see our recycling directory to find out what materials can be recycled.
Recycling benefits us all:
- natural resources are used in the most efficient way
- it reduces damage to the environment by saving energy and water
- there is less need for landfill and those emissions that contribute to global warming
Don't forget, we can only recycle as much as you separate for us. We do not separate recyclable materials from domestic refuse bags. We rely on you to use the comprehensive recycling services we offer and separate as much of your rubbish as possible.
We also provide non-recyclable waste collections, including common household waste and bin collections, and hazardous and bulky items.
