Unitary Development Plan

The Replacement Unitary Development Plan (UDP), which sets out our planning policies, was adopted in June, 2006.

Local Development Framework (LDF)

In September 2004 a major reform of the planning system was introduced through the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act. As part of the reform, the UDP plans are being replaced by Local Development Frameworks.
