Camden Green Fair

The next Camden Green Fair will be taking place at Regent’s Park in summer 2009.

The last Camden Green Fair and Bikefest took place on Sunday 1 June 2008 in Regent's Park.

Green Fair 2007

The theme was Local and Healthy Food and attracted a diverse crowd from all over Camden, London and further afield, attracted by the opportunity to learn about environmental issues from the wide range of stalls and educational displays.
Attractions included:

  • a healthy food 'have-a-go' area – where attendees learnt how to bake bread in a clay oven, taste new foods, and joined in the 'edible monsters' competition
  • a brand new green science zone - a fun and interactive area where people of all ages learnt about the science behind issues such as climate change and nutrition, and joined in with some amazing hands-on experiments
  • an improved GreenHouse zone, containing practical information on how to make your home and garden more sustainable
  • the new and improved annual Bikefest which provided the opportunity to test out new and unusual bikes
  • two music stages (both powered by renewable energy), showcasing the best local talent alongside some amazing world music and dance
  • lots of kids activities, including the famous renewably powered circus, and the Green Roadshow
  • a green market and food stalls selling fair trade goods, arts and crafts, organic food and drink
