Household waste collection
We are responsible for the collection and disposal of your household refuse.
We provide three refuse collections a week, two of which are non-recyclable waste and the third collection a door step recycling collection or estate recycling collection.
In 2003-04 we collected approximately 100,000 tonnes of household waste. You separated 19.2% of this for recycling.
We do not provide containers for residents for their household waste.
