Public transport - underground, buses and trains
Transport for London
Oyster is a plastic smartcard which you can use throughout London instead of paper tickets. You can put travelcards and pay-as-you-go credit on your oyster card. It is the cheapest and most convenient way to travel on bus, tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London.
Full-time students, under 18s, over 60s and disabled adults can apply for discount oyster cards.
