If you are a Camden Freedom Pass holder, we are simplifying the renewal process for 2012. We are changing to a new style, automatic verification process:

Blue badge

• Badge Fee - £10.00
• Replacement clock - £10.00
• Replacement Badge (& compulsory Clock) - £10.00

Green badge

• New or renewed Badge - £30.00
• Change of vehicle  - £10.00

Substitute badge

• New or renewed Badge - £25.00
• Change of Vehicle - £10.00

Shopmobility

• Membership fee & practical training - £20.00
• Wheelchair hire (daily) - £5.00
• Wheelchair hire (7 days) - £25.00
• Wheelchair hire (Monthly) - £60.00

ScootAbility

• Membership fee & practical training - £20.00
• Training DVD - £14.99

Scheme membership

• For each of - Taxicard, ScootAbility, Shopmobility & PlusBus - £10.00

Other

• Photographic service - £7.00
• Mobility Assessment (after missing 2 scheduled appointments) - £25.00
• Disabled Card - £10.00

Discretionary Disabled Person's Freedom Passes - for people with mental health issues

As part of measures to ensure the Council meets the financial challenges it faces; we stopped providing discretionary disabled persons' Freedom Passes to people with mental health issues on 30 May 2011. From that date onward people with mental health problems who have discretionary passes have been unable to use them.

ScootAbility training DVD

We've produced a Mobility Scooter and Electric Wheelchair Training DVD. Any individual or organisation can buy copies.

More and more people are buying mobility scooter or electric wheelchairs, their friends, families and health professionals. It uses animated characters to illustrate information and situations simply and in an easy to understand format. Subtitle and sign language options are available. ScootAbility information and video highlights

The DVD is priced at £14.99 and includes a DVD, a highway guide, Scooter guide and a Power chair guide. If you are interested in purchasing a copy you may choose to visit the town hall cashiers to buy on in person or, alternatively you can buy the ScootAbility DVD online
