A dance class for people with learning disabilities. This aims to teach basic dance techniques to improve physical health and increase self confidence.

Camden Special Olympics

Special Olympics Camden offers year-round sport training and competition opportunities and are open to all people with learning disabilities regardless of their ability.

Our programme is designed to allow athletes of all ages to learn, enjoy and benefit from participation in individual and team sports. Events are modified where necessary to give athletes with severe disabilities opportunities for meaningful participation.

Camden Disability Football Team (Camden DFC)

Camden DFC also play in the STEP Football League at Talacre once a month.Who can attend? Camden DFC is for Adults and Young people 16+ with a Disability.

Under 16s County Football League

This year has seen Camden’s Disability Sports Development Team set up an U16s Football League in partnership with London and Middlesex County FA. The League has 6 Teams from Across the 2 counties including: Arsenal VI & Arsenal Deaf, QPR, Charlton, Millwall and Camden.

The League is proving to be a great success with all players thoroughly enjoying playing competitive football at the weekends.

Monday Night Club

Monday 7pm – 9pm
Talacre Sports Centre

The Monday Night Club is a well established multi sports club catering for adults with a learning disability. Sports on offer include trampolining, table tennis, boccia, basketball, cricket and 10 pin bowling, this session has very close ties with Camden Special Olympics acting as a feeder club for many athletes competing locally, regionally and nationally.

The club is delivered by Camden Sports Development at the Talacre Community Sports Centre but the backbone of the club is the volunteers.
