Black History Season
1968:08 - 40 years of local and national history from a black perspective.
Camden's Black History Month stretches from late September to early December.
The 1968 theme (B68:08), allows us to explore 40 years of local and international black history.
"Black History season is an opportunity for all Camden communities, young and old, to come together and examine black culture. Our programme focuses on the historical events of 1968 and will give a valuable insight into how they helped shape the Camden we know and love today."
Cllr Flick Rea
