Kentish Town is an area of diversity in terms of its mixed communities, wide-ranging
economy and varied physical environment.
It is a long established town centre with a large active residential community, an important high street and diverse business community including the Regis Road Industrial Estate.
Kentish Town is an unassuming place but beneath its surface is a wealth of charm, historic character and a thriving cultural identity that is highly valued by local people.
The communities of Kentish Town still face challenges and there are a number of opportunities for positive changes that would be of benefit to local people.
Kentish Town place plan
The place plan is designed to have a real influence on the future of Kentish Town.
It involves working with communities and stakeholders to understand local priorities,
challenges and opportunities.
It is about how we direct the range resources available in the area to effectively tackle issues and make the most of its many opportunities.
Crucially it is about influencing how we will work together to best achieve improvements for the communities of Kentish Town.
