Mayor of Camden
The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Lulu Mitchell, is currently covering Mayoral engagements until further notice.
On 13 May 2009, at the Annual General Meeting of the Council, Councillor Omar Faruque Ansari (Liberal Democrat) was voted in as this year's Mayor, with Councillor Lulu Mitchell (Conservative) as Deputy Mayor.
During the course of the present Council, 2006-2010, the post of Mayor will be rotated annually between all the elected parties.
