Local strategic partnership (LSP)
Camden's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) exists to make Camden a better place to live, to learn, to work in and to visit. It brings together the public, private and voluntary and community sectors to tackle the big issues in the borough.
Chaired by the Leader of the Council, Cllr Keith Moffitt, it is a non-statutory and non-executive group that meets, in public, six times a year. It is responsible for Camden's sustainable community strategy, Camden Together, which was developed by the partners and which sets out the shared vision for the borough from now until 2012.
It also has responsibility for the Local Area Agreement through which many of the objectives of Camden Together will be delivered.
In this section you can find out more about the LSP’s aims, membership and meeting dates, and download agendas and meeting papers.
Thematic partnerships
Sitting under Camden's LSP are four thematic partnerships which focus on particular areas. These are:
- Community Safety Partnership
- Children and Young People's Partnership Board
- Camden Public Health Partnership
- Economic Development Partnership
They bring together the partners who deliver public services in the borough and are responsible for delivering many of the Local Area Agreement targets.
