Pay for council services

Information about different ways to pay for council services. You can make online payments of council tax, housing rent, commercial rent, business rates and parking fines.

Important notice:

On Monday 23rd January 2012 we experienced a problem with transmitting some credit/debit card details from our system to the banks. If you had an error message when making the payment through the telephone or online then you may have been affected. If you have been affected the payment may be showing up on your statement more than once, but unless you received a payment reference or e-receipt no payment has been made.

The additional payments have not been taken from your account but have been reserved by your bank for payment. Camden will not attempt to take the money from your account and if you take no further action the money will cease to be reserved after five or ten working days, dependent upon your bank's procedures.

If this going to cause you any inconvenience then Camden will contact your bank and ask them to release the money. To do this we will need an authorisation number from your bank for each of the duplicate payments, you will need to contact your bank and ask them for the authorisation code(s).

Once you have these please complete the duplicate payment release form and we will call you back.
