Services for disabled children

Camden MOSAIC and SEND reforms

What is Camden MOSAIC?

Camden MOSAIC is the integrated service for the borough’s disabled children, young people and their families. The service is based at Kentish Town Health Centre.

Camden MOSAIC has high aspirations for children and young people with severe disabilities and complex needs, including sensory impairments. We aim to help them join in with all aspects of school, leisure and community activities, and support their independence and involvement in all decisions that affect them, preparing them for adult life.

What are the SEND reforms?

You may have already heard about some significant changes the Government is making to the way children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families will be supported. We are producing updates to explain the changes - known as the SEND reforms

The SEND reforms are taking place throughout England from September 2014, and we want to ensure families in Camden are kept informed of progress. As part of these reforms, Camden's Local Offer website is now live.

The Local Offer (visit the website or see below for more details) is information, provided in one place, about all the support that is available for children and young people from birth to 25 years who have SEND.
