Saturday music centres
We have two Saturday Music Centres:
- the junior centre (called CAMJAM)
- the senior centre
Choice of centre is dependent on age and previous experience.
At the Camden Saturday Music Centres we aim:
- to support, complement and extend the music activities available within your child's school
- to offer every child attending our centres a range of high quality and challenging musical opportunities in an environment which is support and safe, and staffed by experienced qualified tutors
- to create an environment where all children are encouraged to achieve their full potential, where equality, co-operation and respect are valued and the wide variety of children's backgrounds and aspirations are recognised as being of equal worth
- to provide all children with the opportunity to take part in ensemble activities using voices and/or instruments
- to provide opportunities for children to perform music to parents and in public.
