Planning
To find out what the public, local businesses and other stakeholders think about a draft planning framework for the area around Euston Station.
Besides the station, there are other key sites:
These are:
- The railway carriage sheds at Granby Terrace
- The former BHS depot site at 132-142 Hampstead Road
- The National Temperance Hospital in Hampstead Road
- The Euston Police Garage in Drummond Crescent
It is intended that the document as amended in the light of consultation will become a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to the Council's Unitary Development Plan which sets out the planning policies for the whole of Camden.
The Council has a statutory duty to consult on the preparation of a brief for a minimum of 4 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks. In reaching a decision on a finally adopted version the Council must also explain how comments were taken into account and publish an “adoption statement”. The Consultation period on this document is 9 weeks.
