Planning
To find out what the public, local businesses and other stakeholders think about a draft planning brief and associated Sustainability Appraisal Report (SA) for the Camden Town Underground Station site. The planning brief will be formally adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
The SPD will be prepared to supplement the adopted Unitary Development Plan (UDP) and will become a material planning consideration in the determination of planning applications.

Consultees will be able to comment on and suggest changes to the draft SPD and we will have to consider all of the comments that are made and as appropriate revise the guidance and SA to take account of these comments. We have a statutory duty to consult on the preparation of an SPD for a minimum of four weeks and a maximum of six weeks. The draft SPD must include a statement on how the consultation complies with statutory requirements and our Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). In reaching a decision on a finally adopted version we must also explain how comments were taken into account and publish an "adoption statement".
The purpose of the consultation will be to allow comments to be expressed about the development principles that should be established and to ascertain stakeholder and the public’s views on the draft document(s) when they are made available.
