Details:

Play area for children under 12 with swings, slides, and roundabouts and a sand pit and paddling pool in the summer. Paddling pool for children under 10 years open Mon-Sat 10am-5.30pm, Sun 10am-5pm, late May-1st week of September. Suitable clothing must be worn in the pool. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Schools wishing to use the paddling pool are requested to book in advance.

Bookings for formal matches, athletics, cricket, football, tennis coaching (not tennis courts), rounders, softball and cross country races. Permit required for horse riding, fishing rod and Hampstead Heath licence required to fish. No bookings needed for the Boules pitch (Petanque), turn up on the hour to play, or for the adventure playground, bird-watching, children's paddling pool, kite-flying, orienteering, rambling, or swimming in the ponds. Cycling permitted only on designated routes. Bookings for the bowling green dealt with at the tennis hut next to the green.

Advance bookings taken (following registration) 7 days a week 8.30am-10am, (winter booking times vary). Courts available (unless booked) every hour, on the hour, 8am-dusk.

Details:

10 hard courts. For advanced booking it is necessary to obtain an annual registration card from the Tennis Keeper, Tennis Courts hut, Parliament Hill Fields. If you have a registration card it is possible to book 3 days in advance. Others may check for availability each hour on the day. No booking required at quiet periods (i.e. Oct-Mar, Mon-Fri). Group coaching for adults and young people with qualified LTA coaches held throughout the summer. Applications from the Park Office.
