A local authority section working in partnership with Housing, Social Services, NHS Camden and the Probation Service to deliver a more co-ordinated and needs-led approach to improving the quality of services for individuals requiring housing-related support services e.g. homeless people, older people, people with mental health problems, people with learning disabilities. The Supporting People Programme provides funding to housing associations, voluntary organisations and other sections of the Council to deliver these support services in hostels, supported housing, sheltered housing, and in people's own homes.
