Voluntary befriending scheme operating in Camden and Islington. FUN helps children from lone parent families in Camden and Islington by providing an adult mentor. Mentors meet with the child (or children) once a week, usually at the weekend, for 2-4 hours. If you are unable to commit to once a week but are interested in this role, please contact the FUN office as there may be some flexibility regarding this. Volunteers need to be able to commit to meeting the befriended child for two years (although there will be times for normal holidays).
