London Resource Centre demonstrates and sells equipment. Also provides information about other services available to blind and partially sighted people, their friends and families. RNIB/Action Helpline offers an immediate, expert and confidential service. Many Helpline staff have sight problems themselves and are trained to listen and to give reassurance and advice. The Action for Blind People Camden and Islington Low Vision Centre is also based in Judd Street. Provides a specialist rehabilitation service for people who have been diagnosed as having low vision, enabling people to get the help they need by looking at their everyday needs and difficulties. This service is available to people who have been referred to us by Camden or Islington.
