Edge Cycle is recruiting a Fitness Industry Apprentice

Edge Cycle is offering a chance to a 16-24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student to become a Fitness Industry Apprentice and complete an Intermediate NVQ in Customer Service.

•    Salary: £150 per week for first 6 months rising to £200 per week for remaining 6 months
•    Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm       
•    Based: Holborn
•    Contract length: 12 months with the possibility to become permanent
•    Qualification: Intermediate NVQ in Customer Service (Level 2) as well as in house fitness training potentially leading to an external fitness qualification.

Florida State University London Study Centre is recruiting an Apprentice Administrative Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. Main duties:
•    Checking patient information, sorting and numbering of specimens.
•    To input patient information on to the Laboratory Computer system and filing.
•    To provide clerical assistance in the general office
•    To follow Standard Operating Procedures to perform simple laboratory tasks
•    To maintain cleanliness of all laboratory benches, centrifuges, fridges and freezers.
•    To pack and dispatch samples to external hospitals and take to post room
•    To perform the work of sweat collection, which involves dealing directly with patients.
•    To measure, aliquot and dispose of 24 hour urine samples

•    Good verbal and written communication skills

The apprenticeship will provide project administrative and customer service support to the Registrars team. The apprenticeship will be for a fixed term period of 12 months. During this time you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working for Camden Council whilst pursuing a Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification at Level 2.

Camden Centre for Learning is recruiting a 18-24  year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student to become an Administration Apprentice, whilst working towards achieving an intermediate apprenticeship in Business Administration.

The Details
•    Contract length:  12 months  with good progression opportunities for the right candidate
•    Weekly salary:  £155 per week for the first 6 months then rising to £170 week (Paid monthly, including during your 13 weeks holiday!)
•    Hours: 36 per week

Camden Council is recruiting SIX Apprentice Business Support Officers

Camden Council’s Business Support service is offering an opportunity to SIX 16 to 24 year old Camden residents, Camden care leavers or former Camden secondary school students to become Business Support Officers whilst pursuing a Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification at Level 2.

•    Salary: £181 per week, rising to £199 per week after 6 months (You will be paid monthly)
•    Based at: 5 Pancras Square in Kings Cross
•    Hours: 9-5pm Monday-Friday
•    Contract length: 12 months
•    Apprenticeship: Business Administration Level 2

•    Selection day: Tuesday 21st July
•    Direct interviews: Week commencing 27th July 2015 – may be followed by a short work trial.

Business Support Officers provide a professional, proactive, customer focussed business administration service to the organisation, enabling services to meet their obligations and Council objectives.  Tasks will include:
•    Ensuring that services have the necessary office equipment and tools required to carry out their functions.
•    Carrying out a range of administrative tasks to support services such as producing correspondence, supporting with meetings and events, minute taking   and data entry.
•    Providing assistance to customers accessing the Business Support service.

Two of the six Apprentice Business Support Officers will work closely with directorate teams that provide personal support to Council Chief Officers. In addition to the tasks mentioned above, their role will involve assisting with diary and email management and responding to routine enquiries on behalf of Chief Officers.
