Florida State University London Study Centre is recruiting an Apprentice Administrative Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. Florida State University London Study Centre is offering an opportunity to a 16 – 24 year old Camden resident or Camden care leaver or former Camden Secondary School student (who is eligible to work in the UK and without a degree) to become an Apprentice Administrative Assistant.

•    Salary: £243 per week (12,636 per annum)
•    Hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week - The position will also sometimes require the post holder to be available outside of normal working hours for program-related events which will be compensated with time-off in lieu).
•    Contract length: 12 months (with possibility to become permanent)
•    Apprenticeship: Advanced NVQ Certificate in Business and Administration (Level 3)
•    Based: Central London (nearest tube is Tottenham Court Road)

Florida State University London houses an ever-changing community of study abroad courses delivering cultural and educational experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Along with Florida State University other schools and programs make use of the housing, classrooms, office space, computing and library facilities that are provided in a row of historic buildings in central London. The role of Apprentice Administrative Assistant requires someone who is quick and eager to learn, willing to engage with information technology and who has good literacy, numeracy and customer service skills. On the job training will be provided to help the apprentice develop their skills and confidence. Apprentices must demonstrate a positive attitude to all staff and students working at FSU London.

Camden Council’s Housing Repairs and Improvements team is recruiting an Asset Management Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. Camden Council’s Housing Repairs and Improvements team is offering a 12 month opportunity to a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student or Camden Care Leaver to become Asset Management Apprentice. You will assist with the administration of the Council’s ‘Better Homes Programme’.

•    Salary: £181 per week and increasing to £199 per week after 6 months (paid monthly)
•    Based: Camden Town
•    Contract length: 12 months
•    Qualification you will study towards achieving: Business Administration – intermediate level
•    Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Camden Council is investing in the ‘Better Homes Programme’, a project to improve council-owned homes and buildings through good quality repair and improvement work. Works carried out include the renewal and repair of kitchens, bathrooms, windows and roofs as well as upgrading heating systems, wiring and lifts. The Asset Management Apprentice will assist the team by monitoring and updating data related to the progress on repair and improvement work. (An ‘asset’, in this context, mainly refers to a Council-owned house or building.)

Apprentice duties will include:
•    Learning to create and update a register to record all repair and improvement work that the council has completed or still needs to do.
•    Learning to run reports using data about repair and improvement work to help colleagues with future decisions about how and when to carry out remaining work.
•    Providing a reception service to the building and ensuring deliveries are directed to the correct location

The Institute of Group Analysis is recruiting an Apprentice Administrator

•    Salary: £15,000 per year (£288 per week, you will be paid monthly)
•    Contract length: 18 Months
•    Based: Hampstead
•    Apprenticeship: Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration
•    Hours: 35 hours per week (excluding lunch breaks)
To be worked mainly:
09.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday,
11.30 - 19.30 Thursday (to accommodate the London Foundation course).
This post will also include some Saturday, Sunday and evening working to support the workshop programme (currently averaging 1-3 occasions per month).  The IGA operates a Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) policy https://www.gov.uk/overtime-your-rights/time-off-and-paid-leave.

The Institute of Group Analysis is the UK’s leading education and training provider in Group Analysis and its applications. The Apprentice Administrator will learn how to provide support to all aspects of the IGA Office’s work, in areas such as training courses, events and workshops, communications and promotion, finance, membership support, and more.  The apprentice will be offered some additional training including SAGE and Emergency First Aid.

Camden Council’s Adult Social Care team is recruiting a Business Administration Advanced Apprentice

Camden Council’s Adult Social Care team is offering an exciting opportunity to 16 to 24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student or Camden care leaver (who is eligible to work in the UK) to become a Business Administration Advanced Apprentice.

The apprentice will learn how to undertake a range of complex business, financial and administrative support tasks within adult social care.
