Camden Council is recruiting a HR Payroll Apprentice

Camden Council’s Human Resources team is offering an exciting opportunity to 16 to 24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student or Camden care leaver (who is eligible to work in the UK) to become a HR Payroll Apprentice.

•    Duration: 12 months
•    Salary: £181 per week, rising to £199 per week after 6 months (You will be paid monthly)
•    Based at: 5 Pancras Square, Kings Cross
•    Apprenticeship: Intermediate NVQ in Customer Service (TBC)
•    Closing date: Thursday 11th June 2015
•    Selection Day: Thursday 18th June 2015
•    Interviews: Week commencing 22nd June 2015
•    Start date: July 2015

The Human Resources team provide guidance to staff in Camden on things including recruitment, sickness, learning and development, pay and health and safety. You will process payroll transactions and support the HR Customer Services Team with enquiries from staff and managers. During this time you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working for Camden Council whilst pursuing a Payroll Apprenticeship qualification.

The HGV Training Centre is recruiting two Accounts Assistant Apprentices

We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. The HGV Training Centre is offering an opportunity to two 16 to 24 year old Camden residents, Camden care leavers or former Camden Secondary School students (who are eligible to work in the UK and without a degree) to become an Accounts Assistant Apprentice.

•    Salary: £10,000 per annum (£192 per week, paid monthly)
•    Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday - Friday (35 hours per week)
•    Contract length: 12 months (with possibility to become permanent)
•    Apprenticeship: Intermediate Apprenticeship in AAT (Accounting)
•    Based: Kentish Town, Camden
•    Application deadline: Monday 8th June 2015
•    Selection Day will be held on: Wednesday 17th June 2015
•    Employer Interviews will be held: Week Commencing 22nd June
•    Start date: July 2015

The HGV Training Centre is the UK’s largest provider of LGV / HGV Training. Tasks will include supporting the Finance team in carrying out a range of office tasks including using accounting systems, reviewing supplier and customer accounts, checking expenses, assisting with bank and credit card reconciliation, dealing with invoices and advising suppliers etc. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an expanding company with a possibility of continuing your employment with HGV Training at the end of the apprenticeship.

Multiload Technology is recruiting an Office Support Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn.  Multiload Technology is offering a 12 month contract to a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student to become an Office Support Apprentice.

    •    Salary: £200 per week
    •    Contract length: 12 months
    •    Hours: 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.
    •    Apprenticeship: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration
    •    Based: Near Finchley Road tube station

    Camden Council is recruiting a Business Administration Apprentice in the Adult Social Care team

    Camden Council’s Adult Social Care team is recruiting a 16-24 year old Camden resident, Camden Care Leaner or former Camden Secondary School student to become a Business Administration Apprentice.

    The role will involve assisting with a range of administrative duties to support the Adult Social Care team, whilst working towards an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration 

    •    Contract length: 12 Months
    •    Hours: 36 per week
    •    Salary: £181 per week , increasing to £199 per week after 6 months (paid monthly)
    •    Location: 5 Pancras Square, Kings Cross, N1C 4AG
    •    You will study towards: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration

    Camden Council’s Careline Telecare service is recruiting an Equipment Technician apprentice

    Camden Council’s Careline Telecare Service is offering an exciting opportunity to a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden Secondary School student to become an Equipment Technician Apprentice.

    •    Salary: £181.44 per week, rising to £199.44 per week after 6 months
    •    Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
    •    Based: Gospel Oak
    •    Contract length:12 months
    •    Qualification you will study towards achieving: Intermediate NVQ in Facilities Services

    Camden Council’s Careline Telecare team are responsible for installing special equipment into vulnerable people’s homes so when they need help they are automatically connected to Careline Telecare.

    The Apprentice will be responsible for the responding to all routine telephone and written enquiries, prepare stock requirements, liaising with the installation/admin team as and when required, returning stock to suppliers for repair or refund where necessary.

    You will gain practical experience working as a Careline Equipment Technician whilst pursuing a Intermediate Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification.

    CV Hair and Beauty is offering an opportunity to a 16 to 24 year old to become an Apprentice Junior Stylist for 12 or 18 months (depending on whether you do a level 2 or 3 apprenticeship).  They are looking for someone who is passionately committed to hairdressing, can deal with customers in a confident and professional manner and is reliable and punctual.

    CV Hair & Beauty is one of Bloomsbury's most established hairdressing salons, with a friendly team of 7 all fully trained in all aspects of cutting and styling hair. All the hair designers have at least nine years experience, most of us having always worked in Top London Hairdressing salons so the in-salon training is second to none!
