Chelsea Square Partnership is recruiting an Apprentice Administrator

Chelsea Square Partnership are an independent estate agents who specialises in property sales, lettings, management and block management in West Hampstead and the surrounding areas. They are seeking an articulate, motivated and organised apprentice to carry out a range of administrative duties to support their team.

The details:

  • Salary: £175 per week (paid monthly) – with regular salary reviews
  • Hours: 9am-6pm (1 hour for lunch)
  • Days: You will work 5 days a week which will include working some Saturdays
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Based: Cricklewood/West Hampstead
  • Qualification: You will work towards achieving a Level 2 Business Administration qualification
  • Qualification Study Time: You will be allocated 3 hours each week to work on the qualification element of your apprenticeship

Key Dates:

Parliament Hill Medical Centre is a modern and busy medical centre offering a wide range of services to the local community such as a baby clinics, nurse clinics, travel advice and ante/postnatal care.

The details:

  • Salary: £140 per week, rising to £180 after 4 months then £220 after 8 months. Plus you will get your travel expenses paid, and be bought a set of knives and your chef shoes.
  • Contract length: 12-15 months depending on how long it takes you to complete the course.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, which may include split shifts and weekends.
  • Qualification will work towards: Professional Cookery Level 2.
  • Qualification Study Time: You will be given sufficient each week to work on this.

Maiden Lane Community Association is recruiting an Advanced Childcare Apprentice

Maiden Lane Community Association is recruiting a 16-24 year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student to become a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice. You will work across 2 locations, Maiden Lane Community Centre and Camden Square Play Space. You will be part of the team delivering a high quality, caring, stimulating and accessible service in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, for children from the age of 2 years with transition into school.

To apply for this apprenticeship you must have GCSE grades C or above in Maths and English and either an NVQ 2 in Childcare or at least one year’s experience working in an Early Years group setting.

  • Contract length: 18 months
  • Salary: £150 per week

Camden Council is recruiting a Business Administration Apprentice for the Benefits team

Camden Council’s Finance department is offering an opportunity to a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student to join Camden Council’s Benefits team whilst working towards achieving an NVQ 2 in Business Administration.

  • Salary: £181 per week, rising to £199 per week after 6 months
  • Based at: Camden Old Town Hall, Judd Street, Kings Cross
  • Hours: 9-5pm Monday-Friday
  • Contract length: 12 months
  • Apprenticeship: Business Administration Level 2
  • Application deadline: Midnight on Sunday 4th January
  • Selection day: Friday 9th January
  • Direct interviews: will take place the week commencing 12th January

The apprentice will be based with the Workflow Team, a front line service and the first point of contact for all correspondence for the Revenues Service, including queries and documentation related to Housing Benefits, Council tax and Business Rates.

The procurement team help to buy services and goods on behalf of the council; this could be anything from road schemes, consultancy, vehicles or care services. They make sure that Camden gets good value for money and follows the right procedures in receiving bids.You will support the team by completing administrative tasks such as contacting local businesses by phone/email to request information, sending information packs to organisations who want to bid for contracts, updating IT systems and taking minutes in meetings.

  • Contract length: 12 months
  • Weekly salary: £181 per week, rising to £199 per week after 6 months
  • Qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration
  • Based: 5 Pancras Square, Kings Cross
  • Qualification Study Time: You will be given at least 3 hours each week to work on the qualification element of your apprenticeship

The Information Security team is responsible for maintaining a high level of compliance across all aspects of the Information and communications technology. Their role is to protect electronic data held by the council, support security applications and provide advice on best practise to the business. The team is predominately 2nd line support of applications and solutions with some 1st and 3rd line work included.

  • Contract length: 12 months
  • Weekly salary: £234 per week, rising to £259 per week after 6 months
  • Hours: 36 per week
  • Qualification: Level 3 ICT Qualification
