      Brookfield Primary School is recruiting Two 18-24yrs Early Years Support Apprentice Assistants

      Brookfield Primary School is recruiting Two 18-24 year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student to become an Apprentice Early Years Support Assistant.

      •  Salary: aged 18-20 - £636 per calendar month.  Aged 21-24 - £701.06 per calendar month   - you will have a salary review once you have been in post six months.
      •    Hours: 30 hours per week
      •    Holiday: The role is term time only you will get 13 weeks holiday a year of which 5 weeks of these will be paid
      •    Contract length: 12 months
      •    Qualification: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Childcare and Development  across the foundation stage (nursery and reception classes) Level 2
      •    Based: Highgate, N19 5DH

      Brookfield Primary School is a popular and successful two form entry inner London primary school with a diverse school population. As an Early Years Support Assistant you will work alongside qualified staff across all areas in Nursery/Reception age range (3-5 years). You will develop your experience in all areas of Early Years in school, and gain knowledge of current good childcare practice and assist with the education, supervision and welfare of the children.

      No specific qualifications required but Grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English Language is essential if planning to study for Level 3.
      You will need to bring proof of ID (passport/birth certificate) and two letters with your address to the employer interview if you are invited to attend this. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

      Great Ormond Street Hospital is recruiting a Nursery Assistant Apprentice.

      GOSH is looking for a reliable member of the team, working to provide a positive environment, fostering children’s all round development.  You will be expected to maintain high standards of care for the children who use the nursery at all times.

      • Salary: £311.35 per week (£14,945 for first 6 months. £17,642 for remaining time on programme)
      • Hours: 37.5 hours

      Great Ormond Street Hospital is recruiting a 18 + Play Worker Apprentice.

      The Apprenticeship post holder will be working with an experienced Play Services Team who provide normalising, creative and therapeutic play activities to children and young people of varying abilities both on an individual or group basis. Play staff work across a wide range of clinical settings, where children and Young people require either a short-term admission or who are long-term patients with complex medical needs. If you already hold a NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or Play Work, then your knowledge and experience could be just what they need.

      • Salary: £332.31 per week (£15,951 for first 6 months. £18,899 for remaining time on programme
      • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
      • Contract length: 18 months
      • Apprenticeship: Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce

      The National Theatre is recruiting a Learning Events Apprentice

      We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. The National Theatre is offering an opportunity for 18 or older to become a Learning Events Apprentice.

      • Salary: £274 (per week)
      • Hours: Up to 40hrs per week
      • Qualification: Level 3 Certificate in Cultural Venue Operations Level 3 Certificate in Principles of the Creative and Cultural Sector
      • Contract length: 18-24 months.
      • Based: South Bank, central London.

      The National Theatre Learning department runs 100s of events each year in our fantastic learning spaces situated in the heart of the National Theatre building and at the NT studio. The events range from practical workshops for young producers, to family prop-making sessions, to in-depth discussions about plays on at the NT. An apprentice in this department will learn about event and venue management, developing skills in scheduling, live event delivery, customer liaison, task prioritisation, technical equipment operation and lots more. You’ll also get to work with many of the departments/people right across the National Theatre. It’s a wide-ranging, high energy role for someone with great people skills who doesn’t want to be deskbound all day.

      We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. The National Theatre is offering an opportunity for 18 or older to become a Costume Technician Apprentice.

      • Salary: £274 (per week)

      The highly skilled team in Costume Production at the National Theatre are looking to share their knowledge, skills and experience with an apprentice. Based at the South Bank in London we will immerse you in our world of costume making, millinery, dye shop effects, printing and costume props. We work on around 20 productions a year the style of which can vary from Modern day comedies such as ‘The Suicide’ to Classics with a twist like ‘Wonder Land’ and period pieces like ‘The Plough in the Stars’.

      PACE is recruiting two Early Years Apprentices

      We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. PACE (Play, Adventure and Community Enrichment) is offering an opportunity to two 16 to 24 year old Camden residents, Camden care leavers or former Camden Secondary School students (who are eligible to work in the UK and without a degree) to become  Early Years Apprentices.

      •    Salary: £650 per month including 13 weeks paid holiday!
      •    Hours: Monday - Friday 8am am to 3pm term time only
      •    Contract length: 13 months (with possibility to become permanent)
      •    Qualification: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Children and Young People’s Workforce
      •    Based: One apprentice at Fairfield Play Centre (Camden Town) and one apprentice at Fortune Green Playcentre (West Hampstead)

      Argent is recruiting a Junior Secretary/Team Administrator Apprentice

      Argent is offering an exciting opportunity to a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident only (who is eligible to work in the UK) to become an Advanced Business Administration Apprentice in their Kings cross office.

      •    Salary: £326.00 per week- £17,000PA
      •    Hours: 39hrs per week (Mon to Thu 9am – 6pm and Fri 9am – 5pm) with 1 hour for lunch. This may include one day college release
      •    Based: Kings Cross
      •    Contract length: 18 months
      •    Qualification you will study towards achieving: Advanced NVQ 3 in Business Administration( TBC)

      GP surgeries across Camden and Islington are recruiting Reception Administrative Assistants Apprentice

      As Apprentice Receptionist at the GP Surgery you will be the first point of contact, ensuring that all visitors receive a warm welcome and excellent service. Also, you will assist the team in administrative functions to support the running of the Practice and contribute to patient care. The opportunity will give you an insight into business and administration role within NHS sector with long term prospects.

      •   Salary: £160 – £190 per week
      •    Hours: 40 hours per week
      •    Contract length: 12 months
      •    Apprenticeship: Intermediate NVQ (Level 2 – Business Administration)
      •    Based: Camden and other Locations

      Mears Care Limited is recruiting Health and Social Care Apprentices

      Mears Care Limited is offering exciting opportunities to 18 to 24 year olds to become Health and Social Care Apprentices. Mears provides high quality and flexible care for older and disabled people who want to avoid costly nursing homes and would like to continue living in their own homes. Mears’ friendly, expert local care teams help thousands of people to live independently in their own homes. They support people of all ages, including people with complex conditions such as dementia or a learning disability, or those just needing a little bit of extra help at. There are 60 positions available. You will be subject to an Enhanced DBS clearance.

      •   Salary: £210 per week
