Viacom International Media Networks are recruiting a Creative and Digital Media Apprentice

Viacom International Media Networks are recruiting a Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student aged 18-24 to become a Creative and Digital Media Apprentice. Viacom is home to the world’s premier entertainment brands that connect with audiences across television, motion picture, online and mobile platforms in over 160 countries. With media networks reaching approximately 700 million global subscribers, Viacom’s leading brands include MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.

•    Salary: £14,500 per year
•    Hours: 37.5 hours per week
•    Duration: 12 months

This Apprenticeship is about helping a talented individual with a passion for the Media industry. TXTconnexions is recruiting an Office Support Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. TXTconnexions is offering a 12 month contract to a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student to become an Office Support Apprentice.

•    Salary: £200 per week
•    Contract length: 12 months for intermediate level or 18 months for advanced level.
•    Hours: 32.5 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am until 1:30pm.
•    Apprenticeship: Intermediate or advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration (dependent on ability and experience)  
•    Based: Hampstead

TXTconnexions is a specialist text-message telecom company exclusively serving the Dental and Healthcare sector.  Their service is fully integrated into leading dental and medical software to allow dentists and doctors to automate the provision of appointment reminders. Clients include the leaders in their market including BUPA, Optical Express, etc.  Their small friendly team is looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to learn the responsibilities involved in the smooth running of the office.

Camden Council is recruiting an Apprentice Project and IT Support Officer

Camden Council’s Accessible Travel Solutions Team is recruiting a 16 to 24 year old Camden resident or former Camden Secondary School student or Camden care leaver to become an Apprentice Project and IT Support Officer. 

•    Duration:18 month apprenticeship contract
•    Salary: £234 per week, rising to £259 per week after 6 months and £286 per week after 12 months (You will be paid monthly)
•    Hours: 36 hours per week
•    Based: Kings Cross
•    Apprenticeship: IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professional Advanced Apprenticeship
•    Closing date for applications: Midnight on Monday 6th April 2015
•    Selection day: Tuesday 14th April 2015
•    Interviews: Week commencing 20th April 2015 (followed by short work-trial)
•    Start date: late May 2015

Camden Council’s Accessible Travel Solutions Team offer services to residents that help people to travel around.  They cover things like Freedom Passes, Taxicards & other accessible travel services. They also maintain the council’s fleet of vehicles and offer MOT’s to the public.  This apprenticeship will involve learning how to maintain and develop the IT systems that are responsible for managing all the data for these important services.  The main part of this will involve looking after the bespoke database called ‘Tranzacct’ which is used to store and process information about the residents using these services.

Criteria:
- You must be aged 16 to 24 years old, a Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student
- You must be eligible to work in the UK and resident in the UK / EU for over 3 years
- You must NOT have a degree or level 4 qualification, or a level 3 or above NVQ in ICT.

Warner Bros. is recruiting a Creative Apprentice

Warner Bros. (www.warnerbros.co.uk) is recruiting an 18-24 year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student to become a Creative Apprentice. Whilst working, you will also study towards achieving a Creative and Digital Media Advanced Apprenticeship qualification.

Warner Bros. is a global leader in the creation, distribution, licencing and marketing of all forms of entertainment, from feature films to TV, DVDs and animation.

•    Contract length: 12 months
•    Annual salary: £15,000 (Approx. £288 per week)
•    Hours: 9.30am to 6pm, 5 days per week.
•    Training: Creative and Digital Media Advanced Apprenticeship
•    Based: High Holborn
•    Application deadline: Midnight on Wednesday 8th April
•    Selection day will be held on: Tuesday 14th April at 2pm
•    Interviews will be held during: week commencing 20th April

Working under the direction of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Creative Services team, the apprentice will design and create materials to support B2B marketing and sales requirements; including but not limited to brochures, presentations, event branding, on screen graphics and short form video.

Holy Trinity Primary School is recruiting an Apprentice Teaching Assistant

Holy Trinity Primary School is recruiting a 16-24 year old Camden resident, Camden care leaver or former Camden secondary school student to become an Apprentice Teaching Assistant.

  • Salary: £181.25 per week (Paid monthly, including during your 13 weeks holiday!)
  • Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
  • Holiday: 13 weeks PAID holiday per year!
  • Contract length: 12 months
  • Qualification: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Based: Swiss Cottage/Finchley Road
  • Start date: May 2015
  • Application deadline: Midnight on Thursday 9th April
  • Selection day: Wednesday 15th April at 2pm

Holy Trinity is a small school for 4 to 11 year olds based close to Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road tube stations. This is a Church of England School, so whilst the apprentice does not need to be a Christian, he/she should respect the beliefs of others and the values that the school promotes. As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will assist the class teacher with the education, supervision and welfare of the children.

Criteria to apply:
-    16-24 years old Camden resident, Camden school leaver or Camden care leaver.
-    You must have been resident in the UK or another EU country for the past 3 years.
-    You must not have a degree or a level 4 or higher qualification.
-     Willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check
